Dozens of San Diego artists explore the theme of transformation and the mystery of the butterfly in honor of the The Butterfly Project, which was created in 2006 to memorialize the 1.5 million children killed in the Holocaust and to honor the survivors. Artists include Barbi Dorfan, Patricia Frischer, Eileen Mandell and more.
Artists Craig Carlson, David Hewitt and Susan Merritt discuss the current exhibition, the second in a series of two featuring work by the faculty of the School of Art and Design at San Diego State University. Guests will have an opportunity to view the exhibition before the talks, present questions, and mix and mingle afterward.
