This exhibition focuses on works created by Plains Indians. The techniques once used to paint on buffalo skins appear on ledger paper, revealing the prevailing artistic traditions of these people. On view through May 28.

Artist Talk: Miki Iwasaki

Emergence is a special discussion with San Diego-based artist Miki Iwasaki to address the transition and development of his artwork from studio to public practice. Iwasaki recently completed a sculptural wall installation located in San Diego International Airport’s Terminal 1 food court, which is where this talk will take place.
