Opening reception for the MFA thesis exhibition from Emily Sevier, whose interest in mud or, more specifically, San Diego's mud in the network of canyons throughout the city's urban grid, started when she moved into one of these canyons and began to sift through the debris.

A group exhibition curated by Katrin Pesch and Tim Ridlen featuring multimedia works from Juan William Chávez, Erika Vogt, Detroit Tree of Heaven Woodshop, and more. The show explores the problems of being in the world created by the “abstract” theoretical scientific conceptualizations and the “actual” social interaction with material culture.
