Folkies The Tree Ring are just about to record a new album at Lost Ark Studio, and they're offering up a sampling of the music to come. As frontman Joel P West writes in a post on the band's blog, "We Sleep on the Porch" was originally released on his solo album, Dust Jacket, but the band re-recorded a new version with engineer Mike Butler.
