The To-Do List Podcast

Things to do in San Diego from Oct. 20 through Oct. 27

By Kinsee Morlan
This week, Carissa Casares looks forward to dressing up in her cutest golf outfit at The Oddball Mini Golf Classic at the New Children's Museum.  She says the actual game itself sounds pretty fun, too, and the musical lineup, which includes Rafter and Smile Now Cry Later isn't bad either.

And, you may not know this about Peter Holslin, but that guy is down with Somalia. He eats goats and listens to Somali music like that of rapper K'Naan, who's got a show this Sunday at Belly Up Tavern.

Carissa likes carving  pumpkins. She really likes to carving pumpkins. She goes on and on about her love of pumpkins and praises the masterful work of pumpkin-carving greats like Martha Stewart.  She's sharpening her knives in preparation for the upcoming Pumpkin Carving Extravaganza at The Pearl Hotel on Thursday, Oct. 21.

Peter can't carve a pumpkin to save his life, but he sure can imitate the sounds of dubstep bass with his mouth. Peter talks about  the somewhat underground music's recent surge in popularity and gets us pumped for a dub show with DJ Joe Nice at Kava Lounge this Friday.

Big ups to your music this week, which was provided by EshOne. The song's called "Anti Oil Spill Dub." EshOne plays with Joe Nice this Friday, Oct. 22, at  Kava Lounge. To keep in the To-Do List loop, follow host Kinsee Morlan on Twitter or Facebook
