The To-Do List

Things to do in San Diego from Oct. 13 - Oct. 19

By Kinsee Morlan

This week, Carissa Casares wants to dress up like the Grinch at the Dressing the Part: Costume Design at the Old Globe exhibition, opening this Friday at the San Diego History Center and on view through April of next year.

Peter Holslin says he's smitten with the new San Diego duo, Hyena (the band that provided the soundtrack for this week's podcast). They have a record-release show at The Casbah this Friday night and Holslin highly recommends you go see it

After Carissa peels off her Grinch costume, she's heading over to the Museum of Contemporary Art's "On Topic" talk with Shepard Fairey and Pedro Alonzo Friday night. She pissed about the defacement of his piece in Hillcrest. What do you think Shep's gonna say about it?

And finally, Peter is intrigued, maybe even a little obsessed with David Bazan's battle with Christianity.  Push that little play button on this page and find out why.
