It's been three years since The Donkeys released their last album and I've been eagerly awaiting news of a new release. Well, that day has come: Born With Stripes will hit the streets on Tuesday, April 26.

As if that wasn't enough, the band's label Dead Oceans just announced a special offer: If you pre-order the album, you can get a poster of the album artwork by Tony Millionaire and  two tickets to a show closest to them on the band's May tour.

The sun-baked classic rockers will be hanging out at a listening party at Habitat House the day of the release. Later, they'll kick off their tour with a CD release show at Sushi Performance and Visual Art on Saturday, April 30. The Tree Ring will open. The good people at Sezio are hosting the event and say they've got some "surprises" in store for theme and decorations. You can get tickets for the show hereIn the mean time, take a listen to album opener "Don't Know Who We Are" below.
