Local artists Gloria Muriel (Glow), Dave Persue (Bunny Kitty) and Michael Amorillo (Montrinho) collaborated on a big, beautiful new mural at hART lounge (734 Park Blvd., Downtown).

Arthur Gonzalez Jr. is the owner of hART lounge and he commissioned the mural. Big thanks to Ron Brillantes for taking the photos.

And the crew behind Writerz Blok is working on a large-scale public mural on the top level of Horton Plaza’s parking structure. The piece is a continuation of the Viva la Revolucion exhibition that took over the streets and the downtown galleries at the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego last summer.

The mural will take about a week to finish and it will be about 150 feet wide and 18 feet high. The piece is on the south-facing wall on the top level (7 Lemon) of the G Street parking structure. Stop by and see the Writerz Blok in action.
