Great Demo Review: Send us your music!

Submission deadline is Feb. 4

By Peter Holslin
Hear ye, hear ye! The annual Local Music Issue is coming up, and that means we're getting ready for the next edition of the Great Demo Review.

In case you're unfamiliar: Every year, CityBeat puts out a call for local music, and then our esteemed team of music nerds reviews everything that comes in. Do you have a demo you’ve been passing around? A new album you’ve just pressed? Some sweet beats you've been making in your bedroom? Send us your tunes and we’ll review it.

We accept CDs, DVDs and LPs from musicians in the San Diego County area. (Please, no multiple copies.) Make sure to include your band or project's name, a track listing, an e-mail address or phone number and your website, Bandcamp, SoundCloud or MySpace page with your submission. The deadline is Monday, Feb. 4, 2013.

Mail submissions to:

CityBeat Demo Review
3047 University Ave., Suite 202
San Diego, CA. 92104

Or email them to greatdemoreview@gmail.com.

The Local Music Issue hits the streets on Wednesday, March 6.
