My favorite part of North by North Park, er, North Park Music—um, wait a minute here—San Diego Music Thing? The awesome set from Crystal Antlers at Bar Pink? Meeting Jello Biafra? Nope, it was watching the usual Saturday-night crowd of hipsters showing up at U-31 expecting the same Jersey turnpike-inducing electro party, only to have their minds blown by an enthused set from Little Hurricane. Yeah, booty grinding and drunken groping in North Park came to a virtual standstill, but don’t worry, kids, there’s always next weekend.
