“Everyone must take time to sit and watch the leaves turn.” That’s what writer Elizabeth Lawrence said about autumn—or at least that’s what one of those famous-quotations websites said she said about autumn.
In any case, we here in San Diego don’t have a whole lot of leaves that turn, and that’s a damn good thing because we ain’t got a whole lot of time to sit around and look at leaves, anyway. We’re too busy watching artists, musicians, dancers and actors do their thing—am I right?
