The brothers grim: There’s still time to see Triad Productions’ The Lonesome West, Martin McDonagh’s dirge about the folks of Leenane, Ireland, and their uneasiness amid the town’s three recent murders. Father Welsh’s subsequent suicide didn’t exactly ease the tension between Coleman and Valene Connor (Ryan Ross and Bobby Schiefer), two brothers whose contentious relationship underscores Leenane’s strange mood. Ross and Schiefer’s turns are a little on the strident side, but they grasp the material, and director Adam Parker cast them well to type. Triad’s a hungry young troupe, and that’s a good thing.
