You need to get out more

Our 2008 Fall Arts issue is filled with art, culture, film, dance, theater, literature—yep, that about covers it.

By Nobody

If you haven’t met Kinsee Morlan, you really need to get out more. Our arts editor can be found just about any day of the week out at this event or that one—including those that she herself co-organizes—chatting up the various movers and shakers in San Diego’s cultural scene.

The contacts she makes and the information she gleans often results in top-notch coverage of the local art world. This issue is a case in point: She and her team of writers have filled our annual Fall Arts issue with feature stories on music, art, culture, film, theater, dance and literature, and they’ve also provided a list, in each of those disciplines, of the season’s best bets.

We know times are tough and money’s short, but if you find any disposable income amongst the lint and coffee receipts in your pockets, please do yourself and San Diego’s culturati a big favor—dispose of it at some of these events. If not, well, then just enjoy this issue.
