Yeah, they sound all mainstream and, yeah, they've got the jones for Jimmy Eat World mini-arena theatrics and Coldplay chord progressions. But damn if Dynamite Walls don't pull it off with dramatic bluster and a sense of MySpace humor.

Everything's in its right place on the production front, with glossy beats and layered harmonies shining through via Tom Pritchard's poised voice. Even if the local radio shows are playing "Kiss and Ride," the pulsing midsection of "Everybody Knows' is the best their Space has to offer.

These cats also have the knack of photo-blogging--a skill most bands don't have the time or know-how to pull off. The resulting online journal is a witty take on the doldrums and victories of touring life.
