Self-proclaimed the “fucking best,” Har Mar Superstar must be seen to be believed. He's a throwback to cheesy, R&B/dance performers like Bobby Brown, Paula Abdul and Color Me Badd, but with more skivvies-clad, sweaty action and narcissistic showmanship. Tongue is firmly in cheek-Har Mar is a short, chubby, balding guy from St. Paul, Minn. who sings about such serious topics as shopping sprees and Hypercolor. Regardless, his exuberant live performances have garnered attention from the Hollywood elite, whether as Kelly Osbourne's date for MTV's awards show or opening for the Strokes and the Hives. The real joke is that he's actually a pretty decent singer.
