Beware of Darkness: A Trolley Show

L.A. band performs 'Howl'

By Ryan Bradford

As we’ve said before, A Trolley Show is the perfect outlet for musicians to strip down their sound or reimagine their songs for an intimate setting. That said, we suspect if anyone told that to Beware of Darkness, they either weren’t listening or don’t care because they perform as if they were still plugged in.

In this episode of A Trolley Show, the L.A. band performs “Howl,” which has been featured in shows such as Under the Dome, and video games Gran Turismo and Need for Speed: Most Wanted. Be sure to stick around until about three minutes in, when the lead singer asks the stunned passenger “Do you like it so far?” with the same kind of rockstar swagger that you typically see on a stage.
