Kevin Martin: A Trolley Show

San Diego native performs 'The Unknown' on the MTS

By Ryan Bradford

One of the major drawbacks of taking public transportation is that it doesn’t allow food. Although we appreciate a clean ride and never having to smell another rider’s tuna sandwich, it would be nice to chow down on a warm burrito while riding the train (especially during San Diego’s current cold snap). For now, we’ll get our fix from Kevin Martin’s spicy performance.

In this episode of A Trolley Show, the San Diego singer / songwriter performs a rousing version of “The Unknown,” which heats up the train via a salsa-lite keyboard groove and a cello. Any song that inspires audience participation and hand-clapping is tasty in our book.
