Aide confirms City Council member will run for city attorney
The conservative blog San Diego Red County broke the news Wednesday evening that oft-absent City Councilmember Brian Maienschein will be running for Mike Aguirre’s job. Maienschein’s chief of staff, Lance Witmondt, confirmed the news for CityBeat. Witmondt said Maienschein won’t be commenting about his decision until he officially announces some time next week.
